Bonnie J. Rossa, B.A., M.A.T., NCBT
Bonnie Rossa has been performing and teaching in South Florida for twenty years. She received her bachelor’s degree in classical flute performance from Florida State University, and her master’s degree in teaching from Florida Atlantic University.
Ms. Rossa has performed jazz and classical music in many venues around South Florida, including Sun Fest and the Riverwalk Jazz Festival, and has recorded a CD of original jazz music. Additionally, for several years Bonnie Rossa has performed as an accompanist at the Kravis Center, West Palm Beach and, in 2002, at Carnegie Hall in New York City.
A Boca Pops performance scholarship winner, Bonnie Rossa includes among her other honors: twice Rotary Teacher of the Year, twice Florida Teacher of the Year candidate, and Dwyer Award finalist.
Bonnie Rossa brought both her skill as a National Board Certified teacher of music and her experience as a versatile music performer to her collaboration with Brad Keller leading to the creation of their innovative Jazz Cats Curriculum.
