Brad Keller, B.A., M.A.T., NBCT
Brad Keller has been teaching music in the Palm Beach County, Florida public schools for over twenty years. Additionally, he is the jazz piano instructor at Palm Beach State College. With his talent and enthusiasm for jazz music, Mr. Keller has been inspiring his students – be they elementary school children beginning their journeys, or college young adults, already at their apprentice stage – to pursue the joys of expression and growth inherent in this purely American art form.
As a jazz pianist, Brad Keller has performed throughout his career in many renowned music venues, including Montreux Jazz Festival, and in the company of many jazz greats – among them Maynard Ferguson, Red Rodney, Ira Sullivan, Victor Wooten, Jay Corre, Orthello Molineaux, the Ink Spots, and his mentor and most admired jazz pianist, his dad, Jack Keller.
Mr. Keller has been the recipient of the prestigious Griswold Award from Florida Atlantic University, the Palm Beach Post “I Make a Difference Award,” and received his National Board Certification in elementary music. This long and varied experience has inspired Mr. Keller, working with Bonnie Rossa, to create a curriculum to insure that future generations aspire to be the next great Jazz Cats.
